At this month’s paint-in, we will be focusing on still lifes and the process of painting one. Please bring one or two items to contribute to a still life setup; such as a vase, fruit, or other interesting objects. We’ll be arranging several still lifes around the room for everyone to choose from. Bring your preferred art materials—paints, pencils, or whatever medium you’d like to work with.

We’ll start with a brief discussion about still life and it’s processes, then, each person can pick a setup to work from. At the end, we’ll take some time to share our work and reflect on what we learned.
