Let’s celebrate the many GPWS artists who are displaying at the Breakthrough ‘25 exhibit, presented by Sioux Falls Stage and Gallery. Through an open call during the summer of ’25 and featuring the rising talents of Sioux Falls, SD, all artists that delivered their artwork were accepted into the exhibition. The only stipulations were for artists to live within 10 miles of Sioux Falls, have never had a solo exhibition in the Visual Arts Center and to fit within our size and content standards.

The response from the art community led to this incredible exhibition featuring 70 local artists. An exhibition like this reveals not only the talent of Sioux Falls, but the questions, themes and ideas that inspire its artists. From interests in wildlife and landscape, to abstraction and mixed media, the artists of Sioux Falls are exploring personal narratives and wider observations about the world we live in.
