Are you ready to elevate your artistic skills? Meet Telagio Baptista, a distinguished watercolor realist instructor and art juror who has recently brought his talents to the Midwest. Join us for the transformative three-day “No Fear Portraits” workshop on September 23, 24, and 25th, 2025. This is your chance to learn from an inspiring artist and leave with a newfound confidence in your abilities! In this upcoming workshop, you’ll gain invaluable insights and techniques to overcome your fears about portrait painting. He specializes in guiding you from realism to impressionism using various innovative methods. You’ll learn the nuances of capturing hair, facial features, blending techniques, tonal values, and skin color while enjoying a supportive and energizing atmosphere.

Registration closes Monday, September 15th. If the workshop is full, Janice Bartels-Welsh will keep a waiting list. Cancellations prior to September 2nd will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations after September 2nd will have no refund. The workshop will be held at Rehfeld’s Art & Framing.
