Paint In – November 19, 2024
Location: Ronning Branch Library, 3100 E. 49th Street
Brenda Sosa, the new paint-in chairperson, is hosting a “card” party.
Put your artistic supplies and talents to work making Christmas merry for the residents of Lifescape. We will create Christmas cards, all shapes, sizes and colors, for the residents there. OR you can create “To/From” tags to be used on gifts donated by community partners. Cards can be any shape and size; however, the gift tags should be either 3″x4″ or 4″x5″ so that Lifescape can write names on them in large letters.
The cards will be delivered to Lifescape in early December. Anyone wishing to contribute but unable to come to the paint-in can make cards or tags on their own and drop them off to Deb Yoder at the front desk of Dow Rummel Village, 1321 W Dow Rummel St. Cards and tags must be received no later than Thursday, December 2.
Supplies:
- Paint
- Brushes
- Stickers
- Markers
- Stamps
- Card stock/heavy paper
- Tape and/or glue
- Any embellishments you might have
We will have some supplies available from previous card making projects.
ADDED Incentive: Member Gary Pederson, and possibly one of his musician friends, will provide light musical entertainment to put us in the holiday mood. Come enjoy and create.
