Member Sharon Weber will show us how to make a folded sketchbook.

Location: Ronning Branch Library, 3100 East 49th Street, Sioux Falls 

Supply List: 

• A full sheet (22″x 30″) of watercolor paper. (Both Hobby Lobby and Michael’s sell single sheets of this paper)
• 2 pieces of medium weight cardboard for your book covers. These should be 6″x 8″ at least. We will be cutting them to size. (The back cover of a notebook or w.c. tablet works perfectly) 
• Something of your choice to cover the front and back covers. (Scrapbook paper, lightweight fabric or gel prints, all work well) These should be at least 8″x 10″.
• Glue (Mod Podge, PVA Glue, Elmer’s Glue all work fine)
• Paintbrush (to apply glue) 
• Pencil and Eraser
• Scissors
• Bone folder if you have one. A spoon or popsicle stick work as well.
• Ruler and/or Yardstick (If you have a metal ruler, it is helpful)
• Exacto knife or utility knife (To cut cardboard pieces)
• Small cutting mat if you have one. There will be a couple available.
• Piece of string, yarn, ribbon, shoelace, etc. to wrap around your book and tie to keep it closed.
