Location: Ronning Branch Library, 3100 East 49th Street, Sioux Falls
Supply List:
A full sheet (22″x 30″) of watercolor paper. (Both Hobby Lobby and Michael’s sell single sheets of this paper)
2 pieces of medium weight cardboard for your book covers. These should be 6″x 8″ at least. We will be cutting them to size. (The back cover of a notebook or w.c. tablet works perfectly)
Something of your choice to cover the front and back covers. (Scrapbook paper, lightweight fabric or gel prints, all work well) These should be at least 8″x 10″.
Glue (Mod Podge, PVA Glue, Elmer’s Glue all work fine)
Paintbrush (to apply glue)
Pencil and Eraser
Scissors
Bone folder if you have one. A spoon or popsicle stick work as well.
Ruler and/or Yardstick (If you have a metal ruler, it is helpful)
Exacto knife or utility knife (To cut cardboard pieces)
Small cutting mat if you have one. There will be a couple available.
Piece of string, yarn, ribbon, shoelace, etc. to wrap around your book and tie to keep it closed.
