GPWS Road Trip hosted by Judy Thompson
GPWS is fortunate to have many wonderful members who live outside the Sioux Falls area. Several have graciously agreed to host events in their communities. The goals of these gatherings are to paint with friends, connect with local artists, and simply have fun. Plan to pack a sack lunch, and feel free to carpool if you wish.
On this day, we will begin with plein air painting in the quaint small town of Orange City, IA, known for its rich Dutch heritage. There will be opportunities to connect and paint with local art groups, along with a workshop by Judy on designing paintings for success and adding texture and visual interest through creative resist techniques. Much of the day will also be open to artists working in all media.
Open to the public. No pre-registration required.
